| Charlyn Koo design studio was formed by Dorothy
Teng and Mono Koo who spend days dreaming up new ideas to
make ordinary goods luxuriously fresh and stylish, creating
new twists on tradition.

A self-taught designer, Dorothy began doing graphics and
website design when she was in college. In early 2005, she
and her sisters decided to take a road less taken –
they opened Mints,
a flower boutique in Alameda California. Being surrounded
by flowers, she rediscovered her passion with colors and
patterns and couldn't help but wonder what if...
Mono Koo
He is definitely a self-proclaimed weirdo who loves music
and art. He believes imagination is a necessity for humanity.
Like many others, he learned his technical skills at school,
but his true creative fuel is from art, music, interesting
people and food. |
